The anime this is from is FLCL. alt name is Fooly Cooly.
It's only six episodes long and a ruff 2 1/2 hours long. Both sub and dub are good, but seem to be removed from Youtube. Also this is from the first season of it.
Just watch the first season of it, the other seasons don't follow up on the original story.
