context- I was in grade 7 last year, this is when the story happened. i also got this teacher till june 29th since im in her class this year.- grade 7 story time-

"Just Because" apparently isn't enough for my 8th grade teacher for why i walked on ice for 5 seconds before my conscience kicked in going "woah this is a pretty stupid idea, i should get off." I had to stay in for an entire week of school for the answer "just because."

While my classmates who were on the ice the entire recess basically got off scott free because they gave an answer that was probably "i did it to feel ice physics." not to mention that her students didn't even seem to get in trouble for doing the same thing as me.

Those same people would go on the giant ice patch that was basically out entire yard and slide on it every day, every recess till it was no more.
